Darkness fell. My beating heart pounded. He was here. It… was here. My ears tingled, but It made no sound. Afraid to move. Paralyzed by fear, sweat drained from my pores. And Legends of the beast flooded into my brain. No, it couldn't be. A man of endless years. With hunger and lust. No… No such thing. The pounding echoed, I needed silence. My lungs strained, I needed air. His eyes appeared. Fierce Yet, they lured me, Held me in their grip. Mesmerized My mind said no. My body unwilling to resist. He captured me and gave me the kiss The kiss of deep passion The kiss of sweet death The kiss of eternal life. And we became one. and darkness fell forever. |
