Jean Cherie is compelled to create with her hands. She is a true artist: feeling, exploring, defining the surfaces and textures of her multiple mediums. She has a vision that playfully molds, bends and coaxes the art from the clay, stone paper and bronze that Jean Cherie loves to work with. She believes that artists are positive leaders of society… visionaries who are capable of providing enlightened and unifying experiences.

Jean Cherie attended the California Institute of the Arts, Chounard. After majoring in fashion and fine arts, she entered the entertainment business, working with cutting-edge artisans and designers, learning the magic of style and illusion in film and television. However, her true calling is fine art sculpting. Currently Jean Cherie is sculpting a series entitled Extraordinary Women in the Arts, an inspired cast-bronze portrait series of remarkable women. Jean's dream is to create more public art projects to share her vision of a caring community. She has been commissioned to create large sculptural pieces all over the world and is in constant demand to collaborate with other artist on exciting large-scale projects.

"As an artist, it is my job to make people aware of the beauty created by the human spirit and by human hands. Expressing myself artistically is what I do best. Its' all I've ever wanted to do. Like a writer writes, it's what's inside of me that wants to come out. I love it."
